Learning Foundations Curriculum:

 

Incorporates aspects of the High Reach Curriculum and the Creative Curriculum.

Recommended by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the State of Alabama.

 

Teaching Standards:

 

All teachers follow the Alabama Standards for children from birth through age 5.

These additional curricula are provided by Concordia Publishing House of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, St. Louis, Missouri.

Age Groups

Toddler Program (Ages 15 - 23 months)

Class size is limited to 6 children per adult.
This may be the child’s first experience away from home. Our teachers strive to make the transition a smooth one. Teachers offer many activities for the children in a loving Christian environment.

 

Two-year-old Program

Class size is limited to 8 children per adult.
Our teachers strive to make a smooth transition from home to school for their children. The children learn about God’s world in a nurturing environment. They grow in their social skills as well as develop fine and gross motor skills through a variety of learning experiences.

 

Three-year-old Program

Class size is limited to 10 children per adult.
Children are encouraged to be potty-trained when entering this class. Our teachers create a loving Christian learning environment so children will feel secure away from home. The academic focus is on pre-readiness skills in preparation for the Pre-4K class.

Pre-K4 Program

Class size is limited to 12 children per adult.
Our teachers prepare the children for kindergarten based on the suggested state requirements. It is our goal to provide a good foundation for learning while promoting Christian values.
